This is a K type thermocouple, with 3 feet insulated wire on mini flat pin plug. If you do not know what this is for, this item is not likely for you. This sensor goes with any equipment that takes K type thermocouple input, like multimeters or lab instruments, to measure temperature, HVAC service men use this to measure subcooling and super-heat. Its easier to get one for each line, just switch at the plug. No waiting to switch the sensor tip location from line to line and wait for the temperature to get steady. take booth temperatures to save you valuable time(at least 10 minutes!).
