How it is replaced: This need to sit on a flat surface on the cap of the pump, clean and dust free, fastened on the cap with one single screw. Never bend this part, clean it if there is a loss of suction. Use mild ditergent if condensate/deposit is seen around the opening. this valve is suppose to cover the air escape channel underneath it completely.
